- BOX MOTIONSThe box motion is an accessory to those power looms adapted for: the purpose of weaving cloths in which more than one colour or kind of weft is used. There are two classes of motions adopted, namely the circular box motion and the rising or drop box motion. The main feature of difference between the two styles is in the method of carrying the shuttles. The circular method has the shuttles arranged in series of cells revolving round a common axis. In the other style the boxes are arranged in shelf form, one above the other.
